 | The Greenville area is approximately located 5 miles northeast of downtown Dallas. Greenville avenue is one of the oldest entertainment communities in the Dallas area. Some would say that this area is a duplicate of Addison, TX with a youthful college twist. Greenville Avenue is broken up into two separate areas. The Upper Greenville area streches from Park Lane to Mockingbird Lane and contains many daily shops and resturants. You can find many SMU students crowding the streets and resturants during the day. The Lower Greenville area streches from Mockingbird Lane to Ross Avenue and comes alive at night with unique shops, bars, clubs, lounges, and pubs. |
The atmosphere is definatly college-like and there are drink specials in every bar each night of the week. The Lower Greenville area also holds special block parties during the year.Some must see bars in the area are Hurricane Bar and Grill, Whskey Bar, Zubar, 8 Lounge, What~Bar, and Micks.
